Belmont
Decision sheet

Tennessee · Research checked 2026-07-02 · School research, not an aid offer

The starting point

Nashville Christian university with a fully published six-tier automatic merit ladder ($4,000 to $22,000 per year) and two competitive top-2% full-ride scholarships (Archer Presidential, Hearst) gated by an Early Action I November 1 deadline.

More than one award path. Some awards use published academic thresholds. Others have different selection criteria. A score chart does not describe every award at this school.

Awards to discuss

First 3 of 8 recorded awards, in chapter display order. This is a selection, not a ranking. Read the full chapter for all awards. Amounts retain the original units and conditions; confirm the entering year with the school.

Trustee Scholarship

$22,000 per year · Published amount

Recorded as automatic on academic criteria; all conditions apply.

Eligibility: Automatic on admission application. Application doubles as the scholarship application. Belmont considers GPA, essay, co-curricular activities, and test score (if submitted). Highest tier of the general academic ladder — also the qualifying step for top competitive scholarship consideration.

Renewal: Renewable with full-time enrollment (≥12 credits/semester) and satisfactory academic progress.

Ask before you decide

  1. Which entering-year policy and residency category apply to us? What are the admission and scholarship deadlines?
  2. What grades and credits are required to renew, and for how many terms?
  3. How would other school awards or outside scholarships change the offer?

Recorded stacking policy: Belmont applies outside, federal, and state aid first toward expenses. Institutional aid is non-refundable, so when outside scholarships combined with other resources cover or exceed cost of attendance, Belmont's institutional scholarship gets reduced rather than refunded back to the student.

The research date is not a guarantee that a policy still applies. Confirm current amounts, deadlines and conditions with the school before making a financial decision.
