Southeastern (SEU)
Decision sheet

Florida · Research checked 2026-06-07 · School research, not an aid offer

The starting point

DRAFT: SEU publishes a fully automatic, test-optional GPA grid for 2026-27 ($6,000-$17,000) with a low 2.0 renewal GPA, plus small stackable add-ons for visiting campus, coming from out of state, and Assemblies of God affiliations.

More than one award path. Some awards use published academic thresholds. Others have different selection criteria. A score chart does not describe every award at this school.

Awards to discuss

First 3 of 5 recorded awards, in chapter display order. This is a selection, not a ranking. Read the full chapter for all awards. Amounts retain the original units and conditions; confirm the entering year with the school.

Academic Scholarships for First-Time Freshmen (2026-2027 grid: Chancellor's / President's / Regent's / Southeastern / Founder's)

$6,000-$17,000 · Published range

Recorded as automatic on academic criteria; all conditions apply.

GPA: Weighted HS GPA per grid below · SAT: optional — only factored if it raises the tier · ACT: optional — only factored if it raises the tier

Eligibility: CLT also accepted; Honors and Bright Futures students must still submit test scores

Renewal: Renewable up to 4 years (up to eight consecutive semesters); renewable by maintaining a cumulative 2.0 GPA; full-time enrollment required.

Other terms: Full 2026-2027 grid copied verbatim in the excerpt. Test-optional: 'Test scores will only be factored in if they help you reach a higher scholarship level.'

Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students (2026-2027 grid: Quest / Journey / Venture)

$6,000-$12,000 · Published range

Not recorded as automatic on grades and scores. Read the selection rules.

GPA: Cumulative college GPA per grid: 3.25+ Quest $12,000; 2.25-3.24 Journey $9,000; 2.249 & below Venture $6,000

Eligibility: 12+ credit hours after high school graduation from an accredited university; eligibility deadlines: fall July 1, spring December 1

Renewal: Renewable by maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0; up to eight consecutive semesters; full-time enrollment.

Other terms: Grid-based by college GPA, but page does not use the word 'automatic' for transfers — automaticOnStats left false.

Honors Program Scholarship

$3,000 · Published amount

Not recorded as automatic on grades and scores. Read the selection rules.

GPA: 3.6 cumulative to maintain

Eligibility: Acceptance into the School of Honors (committee review/invitation; GPA, test scores, video/essay requirements); first-year freshmen or transfers with 4+ semesters remaining

Renewal: Renewable each year a student is in the program and has successfully completed honors course requirements with a minimum B+ grade; must maintain cumulative GPA of at least 3.6.

Other terms: Note the separate School of Honors fee of $250 per semester on the tuition page.

Ask before you decide

  1. Which entering-year policy and residency category apply to us? What are the admission and scholarship deadlines?
  2. What grades and credits are required to renew, and for how many terms?
  3. How would other school awards or outside scholarships change the offer?

Recorded stacking policy: SEU publishes no general outside-scholarship displacement policy on the scholarships page, but specific caps exist: Bible Quiz Scholarship recipients may add other institutional/tuition grants only up to tuition and fees for a semester, and Fine Arts Festival applicants 'can only receive one of the listed awards.' Treatment of private outside scholarships generally is unstated.
