UDallas
Decision sheet

Texas · Research checked 2026-06-03 · School research, not an aid offer

The starting point

University of Dallas (Catholic, Irving TX — NOT UT Dallas) publishes an automatic GPA/test grid of $28,000-$36,000/yr plus several competitive full-tuition tracks; all non-need awards are tuition-directed and stack only up to full tuition.

More than one award path. Some awards use published academic thresholds. Others have different selection criteria. A score chart does not describe every award at this school.

Awards to discuss

First 3 of 7 recorded awards, in chapter display order. This is a selection, not a ranking. Read the full chapter for all awards. Amounts retain the original units and conditions; confirm the entering year with the school.

Eligibility: Based on cumulative college GPA; the admission application is the scholarship application

Renewal: Same renewal terms (full-time, SAP, 2.5 CGPA by end of sophomore year).

Other terms: Elite $35,000 (3.75+), Premier $31,000 (3.5-3.749), Select $28,000 (3.0-3.49). Scholarships/grants except Pell may be stacked up to but not beyond full tuition.

Full-Tuition Scholars of Excellence & Crusader Scholarships

Full tuition · Published coverage or package

Not recorded as automatic on grades and scores. Read the selection rules.

Eligibility: Any incoming full-time undergraduate seeking first bachelor's degree; competitive (Crusader has a creative/expressive component). FAFSA completion required even though merit-based.

Renewal: Renewable for all four years; full tuition scholarships cover up to 18 credit hours each for fall and spring; standard 2.5 CGPA renewal applies.

Other terms: Open Aug 1, deadline Jan 5. Full-tuition winners are ineligible for additional non-need awards (anti-stacking).

Ask before you decide

  1. Which entering-year policy and residency category apply to us? What are the admission and scholarship deadlines?
  2. What grades and credits are required to renew, and for how many terms?
  3. How would other school awards or outside scholarships change the offer?

Recorded stacking policy: All UDallas non-need scholarships and grants are tuition-directed: they may be combined (stacked) up to but not over full tuition. A full-tuition scholarship recipient is therefore ineligible for any additional non-need scholarship or grant, including the Family Grant; departmental awards cannot sit on top of a full-tuition scholarship.
