Nevada (Reno)
Decision sheet

Nevada · Research checked 2026-07-02 · School research, not an aid offer

The starting point

Nevada residents get a fully automatic GPA + test-score scholarship grid (Presidential $8,000/yr down to Luna $750/yr); out-of-state students route through WICHE tuition reductions (WUE/PEP) or a stackable Tahoe/Dean's Pack/Honors set worth up to $12,000/yr. (DRAFT)

More than one award path. Some awards use published academic thresholds. Others have different selection criteria. A score chart does not describe every award at this school.

Awards to discuss

Presidential Level Scholarship (WICHE / out-of-state)

$8,000 · Published amount

Recorded as automatic on academic criteria; all conditions apply.

Other terms: Students from WICHE states may qualify for the Presidential Level Scholarship ($8,000/year). WUE and PEP are stackable with the Presidential. Ask before you decide

  1. Which entering-year policy and residency category apply to us? What are the admission and scholarship deadlines?
  2. What grades and credits are required to renew, and for how many terms?
  3. How would other school awards or outside scholarships change the offer?

Recorded stacking policy: Resident awards: a student receives only ONE four-year award; the test-optional one-year award does not stack with the four-year grid or National Merit. Non-resident: WUE/PEP tuition reductions stack with Presidential OR National Merit, but Presidential and National Merit cannot combine; the Tahoe/Dean's Pack/Honors stack cannot combine with either Presidential or National Merit. National Merit Scholars forfeit need-based grants.
