  1. McNeese states 'Awarding will begin October 1 and will continue until funding is exhausted' — meeting the stats does not help if funds run out before your file is complete. The published priority date for Fall 2025 was December 15, 2024 (the financial-aid page lists December 15, 2025 as the scholarship priority for the 2025-2026 aid year).

  2. 'Housing scholarships only apply to campus housing for students residing on campus' — commuters and off-campus students lose that component of the 1-year value entirely.

  3. For the Fall 2025 grid, the minimum qualifying score had to be earned by the March 31, 2025 ACT/SAT test dates — late-spring senior-year retakes are too late.
