  1. Newberry's Tuition and Financial Aid page contains the aid process, costs, and refund policies but NO first-year merit table, named scholarships, or GPA/test cutoffs (retrieved 2026-06-07). Families cannot price-compare in advance — the merit number arrives in the individualized aid estimate, so ask admissions for your specific merit award and its renewal conditions in writing.

  2. The 2026-2027 table totals tuition, fees, basic room and basic board only, and explicitly 'does not include course, program, or athletic fees' — nor indirect costs like transportation or personal expenses. Budget above $48,200.

  3. The aid page warns 'much aid is first-come, first-served' and says the FAFSA should be completed as soon as available but 'no later than June 30 of the year for which you are applying.' (School code 003440.)
