Troy's top freshman awards (Scholars PLUS / Scholars) cover tuition plus housing for high-stat students, stepping down to fixed-dollar awards ($6,000–$10,000 Chancellor's, $2,000–$4,000 Leadership) — all applied for through the TROY Scholarship Portal.

Selection beyond grades and scores. These awards are not recorded as automatic on grades and scores. Read each award's selection rules, application steps and dates. Meeting a minimum is not an award offer.

Ask before you decide

1. Which entering-year policy and residency category apply to us? What are the admission and scholarship deadlines?
2. What grades and credits are required to renew, and for how many terms?
3. How would other school awards or outside scholarships change the offer?

Recorded stacking policy: Scholarships, unless otherwise specified, are for one academic year and applied for through the TROY Scholarship Portal. Transfer scholarships explicitly cannot be stacked with other TROY transfer scholarships; the freshman page does not state whether the freshman academic awards stack with one another. Outside/private scholarship displacement is not addressed.
