  4. Per the Institutional Aid policy: 'Students enrolled in a fully online program do not qualify for institutional aid. If a student has institutional funds and switches to an online program, the award will be removed.' The scholarships page likewise says 'Fully online students are not eligible.'

  5. The policy states 'Institutional scholarship funds are not applicable during the summer semester, unless enrolled in an eligible program.'

  6. The scholarships page notes 'RMU reserves the right to recalculate weighted grade point averages using our internal method for purposes of admission and awarding scholarships,' so your award tier may be based on a recalculated GPA, not your transcript's number.

  7. The 2026-2027 COA page states 'Special Major Flat Rate Tuition is $40,800 for Engineering and Nursing' — $3,710 more than the standard flat rate, while the merit award stays the same flat dollar amount.
