What families often miss

  1. Sagrado's institutional/private becas have a fixed convocatoria ('Convocatoria abierta: 1 de Marzo - 30 de Abril') on the AcademicWorks portal — outside that window you cannot apply.

  2. Preselected becas applicants are invited by institutional email and have three (3) days to confirm receipt; 'De no confirmar el recibo, se le dará la oportunidad a otro estudiante' — your slot goes to someone else.

  3. Only the $600 Pre-Achievers credit is automatic. The Programa de Becas is explicitly 'competitivo,' and FEE requires demonstrated economic need on top of academic indicators.

  4. Both require a minimum of 14 credits — more than the 12-credit full-time floor used by the COA budgets.

  5. Filing the FAFSA for the award year is a basic requirement of the becas application ('Llenar la solicitud FAFSA para el año académico en que se ofrecen las becas').

  6. The page states 'Los estudiantes de nivel graduado y en la modalidad acelerada no son elegibles para recibir este incentivo.'
